Fitness Kickboxing Instructor - Level 1

In the FKCI Fitness Kickboxing Instructor - Level 1 course, you learn real Boxing/Kickboxing punch and kick techniques as well as actual combinations designed by a Certified Competitive Boxing/Kickboxing Coach and CPTN Certified Personal Trainer. From the warm-up, hand wrapping, stance, footwork, boxing & kickboxing drills and combinations utilizing focus pads and partner training, abs routine and cool down stretches you will gain the essential skills and knowledge needed to launch your journey as a certified kickboxing instructor. By the end of this course, you will be equipped to lead engaging fitness classes, inspire others, and start earning an income doing what you love.

This comprehensive online program, designed for the ultimate in authenticity and fitness ensuring a safe and efficient class or personal training session, includes a series of instructional videos and downloadable handouts that cover topics ranging from kickboxing techniques to class management strategies. You will have access to valuable resources that will enhance your learning experience and provide you with practical tools to succeed in the fitness industry.

The course materials highlight and discuss the key aspects of Fitness Kickboxing: History, Stance, Hand Position, Punches, Kicks, Pad work and sample class formats. 

Candidates study the course materials at their own pace and have access to two tutoring sessions with an assigned instructor. Candidates must complete the tutoring sessions within 30 days of the course registration date.
There are six quizzes with a total of 40 multiple-choice questions included with the course fee. Upon completion of the course materials and quizzes, candidates have up to one month (30 days) from the date of course registration to complete an at-home program design assignment and a practical assessment.

CECs: CPTN-8, can be petitioned via other organizations for credits

Planning for Fitness Kickboxing Instructor Level 1 Certification

Upon completion of the course materials, tutoring sessions, and in-course quizzes, candidates seeking the distinction of FKCI Fitness Kickboxing Instructor Level 1 must complete and submit the at-home Program Design Assignment and complete a practical assessment that shows instruction in a small group fitness kickboxing class setting for a minimum of 20 minutes within 30 days of the course registration date. A passing grade of 80% or higher and proof of valid first aid and CPR is required to receive the certificate of distinction.
